Shining a Light on Priddy Award Winners

It's nice to see how individuals can make a difference, and High Voltage is honored to shine a light of our own on Caroline Chernuta and Hallie Sciulli. Caroline and Hallie were given Familylinks' annual Priddy Award for their efforts in creating a library for the women and children at Familylinks Family Treatment Center in Allentown, PA.
FTC is a facility which helps people who have addictions, mental health issues, abuse, and developmental disabilities and give them hope and independence in their lives.
When High Voltage was contacted by Hallie and Caroline for assistance with getting materials required to make the shelves and other supplies for the library at the Allentown FTC, it was a way to get behind the two volunteers and support their efforts to add a place for women and children staying in the facility to relax.
On June 25, 2015, Hallie and Caroline were honored at a ceremony at the Family Treatment Center and each woman was presented with a crystal bowl by Familylinks' CEO, Fred Massey.

In August 2005, Hurricane Katrina produced about 20 million megawatts at its peak, about 17 hours before landfall. That approaches 1,000 times the capacity of Louisiana's entire fleet of power plants (26,000 megawatts, as measured during peak summer months).
